It is Friday, yeah!!! For the past 6 months Friday and Saturday have been my days off but we just bid a new schedule and for the first time in 3 years I will have week-ends off. Normal week-ends like real people, Saturday and Sunday.
This means that we can now have our regularly scheduled workshops and I don't have to either skip work on Sunday or leave Kansas City early to get back for work. I think I am going to like this.
I have been working on a lot of projects over the summer and learning to use my Copic Markers. If you haven't tried these markers you should, they are awesome. I am so excited about them that I am registered for the Copic Certificatio Class being held in Kansas City October 9 and 10. I am registered for the October 10 session. When the session is complete I will be certified to teach the use of these fantastic markers.
The new Stampin Up Fall and Winter Catalog is out and you may view it at: http://www.stampinup.com/ I am not sure how much longer I will be a demonstrator as I have been making my own minimums for over a year and my budget is struggling to allow this. I will always buy the Stampin Up inks and papers but I just won't be able to buy from myself unless I make my minumum by September 30.
I am uploading a couple of new cards that I have made this week so you can see what I have been up to.
I am participating in a Altoid Tin Swap at GinaK Stamps with Joanne as the hostess. We are to make a swap card using GinaK stamps, minimum 2 layers and at least 1 embellishment. Here is the card that I made. It is 2X3 1/4 inches and the smallest card that I have ever made. I used my copic markers for the hat. Stampin Up cardstock and the ribbon was from Target. It was fun. I will mail my 11 identical cards to the hostess and I will receive 10 different cards in return.
I promise to post more often now that summer is over and I am working days.
Hope you all had a great summer and are ready to do some stampin and creating with me.
