The Cat's have it!!! Mo's Digital Pencil

I love this cat's expression...so sly like most cats, and the reason I love cats and Good Things!!!

The eyes say it all, sit and wait on top of the cheese look sweet and they will come.....

I kept the design simple because of the rather colorful cardstock I chose to showcase this feline beauty.  The flower  is just the right touch to accent the sentiment which comes with the image.
Be sure to check out the new images at Mo's Digital Pencil Store as Mo has been coming up with lots of new ones lately, so many I can hardly keep up with my coloring. LOL.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to drop by the Mo's Clubhouse Blog daily to see all of the DT creations featuring a new card or altered project every single day.

Have a super creative week!!!

Darling Spring Image--Hey Bud!

Monday and time for a new Mo creation to be posted on the Mo' Clubhouse Blog and I am  using a fairly new image for Spring called Hey Bud:

I love using polka dots for Spring, they just seem to fit the season and  music because I hear the birds chirping when I wake up in the morning.  They have been chirping for hours but that is totally irrelevant.  My kids used to think that the seeds would pop up as soon as they were planted and were amazed a couple of weeks later when they finally did pop up, but their amazement was always worth the planting :)

The image is so darn cute and easy to color I just had to color it as soon as it came out and then waited for warmer weather to show you LOL.

Be sure to stop by the Challenge Blog and enter a card for the Monthly Challenge, and be sure to check the Mo's Clubhouse Blog for the DT gals daily showcase of a wonderful Mo image, some old some new , you never know what it is going to be....

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful creative day.

It's Monday and time for a new Mo's Creation!!!

Just a bit of a change up today.  We have a new Blog for our Mo's Digital Pencil DT creations called Mo's Clubhouse and that is where my card for today was posted.  It is going to be a wonderful new blog for the DT to create the daily creations, post tutorials, and we will also have contests! Awesome huh!!!   Now... Back to my creation for today,  I used Grunge Love:

While none of my kids or grand kids are really into the Grunge style in clothing or make-up, they do love hoodies and jeans, so I colored them more "everyone's style"  and added some texting terms (I hope) and phones to make it more tween- like LOL.    The phone is a die  I keep forgetting I have, but need to use more often with all the tween grandkids I have :).   The upper sentiment says, #whatIsaid....    I thought it would show up better in the photograph even with the black lettering, but No.......'

The dp back ground paper is some I have had in my stash and thought it was appropriate for thoughtful, quiet, let your fingers do your talking, kid card I created.

Right now there is a Coloring Contest going on at the new Mo's Clubhouse blog so grab any Mo Spring inspired image and enter it in the contest and link on the blog.  There is a special prize for this first Contest but I am not exactly sure what that prize is as of yet, stay tuned for details :)

Check out the new Mo's Clubhouse Blog every day to see what each DT member has created to show you and there may be a Tutorial or a Contest thrown in along the way, so check in often as we are just getting the site started and getting everything in order.  The other Blogs are still going too, the Dream Team blog, the Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge is now monthly but going strong, and Belle and Bronte's Clubhouse on Facebook is  a hopping place too and usually has some fun activity going on.  Wow, so much fun Mo Stuffs.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful creative week.

Mo's Digital Pencil Monday image share--Erin!!

Monday is my day to show you an awesome Mo's Digital Pencil creation.  Tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day and Mo created this darling little Irish darling with shamrocks called Erin, so I thought she would be perfect for my post today:

Isn't she just adorable.  In my stash of paper, (it hasn't fallen and injured me yet,) I found this adorable embossed St. Patrick's Day paper, perfect !!  Colored this little cutie with copics and sponged around the edge with a dauber sponge and SU green ink pad  The paper included these little postage stamp sentiments, so I dug in my closet of supplies until I found my tote of decorative edge scissors where my postage stamp edge scissors live to cut them out.  Just the look I wanted.  Just to prove the adage, just because you have not used it in a year, is no reason to give something away.  I rest my case !!!

Mo has been creating so many cute new images lately I have been having so much fun coloring that I have to get busy making cards now, especially now that we are sharing Mo images every week on our blogs and on the Bella and Bronte Clubhouse Facebook page.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful creative day,

Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge-- Anything Goes/ Green

Yep, it's time for a new Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge where the theme is now always Anything goes, but if you want to have a little more fun and a bit more of a challenge the DT members have added an alternate theme as well.  This fortnight's theme is Green:

With a couple of tween age grandson's who love video games,  Video Boy is a perfect choice and since I colored his shirt green he fits the challenge, added bonus:

Colored with copic markers and in keeping it masculine, I added some gears and a large button.  The banner was created using 3 punches, because I am too cheap to order the die that makes the heart banner :)  It may take a minute or two longer but it works and hey, I am retired, I have time.  Ha Ha ( I still work 16 hrs a week at my old tech support job, watch the grandkids before school and after if dad is not home yet and have one pre-schooler all day Tues-Friday)  I think I had more time when I worked full-time, but it wasn't as much fun LOL.

Be sure to stop by the Challenge Blog and see the rest of the DT creations and the Top 3 winners from the previous Challenge along with the random drawing winner.
Can't wait to see what everyone creates and the images they use, I know Mo has been so busy creating lots and lots of new images lately and they are all awesome as always :).

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful creative week.

Mo's Digital Pencil --Addicted to Coffee...no Really :)

Hello Mo fans, Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge Design Team gals are starting a new fun weekly showing of Mo's images rather than the bi weekly Challenge's.  I have been coloring up a storm because Mo has been creating a lot of adorable new images I have to have!!! Wanna See one???

Anyone who knows me knows that I am pretty much addicted to coffee, good coffee, Starbucks or good strong name brand coffee, drank by the pot, not cup :)  I don't have a coffee pot in my house I have a coffee station, a Bunn pot and a Keurig. What can I say!!!

This awesome image, called Coffee,  was right up my alley and it comes with two wonderful sentiments, one of which I used for the top sentiment and the second I made up to suit me and my hatred for mornings.  Check it out and I know you will love and use this image many times for your friends you love a latte!

Check out the Facebook Belle and Bronte Clubhouse page daily for a new image from a Mo's Digital Pencil DT member.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful creative day.  Gotta go get a Hazel nut coffee refill

Hugs,
Cathy

Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge--Animals

Time for a new Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge.  The theme is always Anything Goes with an alternate theme of your favorite Animal.  I chose the beautiful Going North.

The image is beautiful on its own, but I wanted to create a scene with the gorgeous and phenomenal Northern Lights but it took me a bit to figure out how to create them :)  I colored the image with copics.  Used Adirondack acrylic paint dauber white to create the snow, and then glued glitter to create the glistening snow.    Then airbrushed the sky masking around the image and trees.   I didn't want to mess up my sky and have to redo my image, which I had spend a lot of time coloring.  I airbrushed a blank piece of cs and used the paint pen I thought would work for the aurora.  I ran several lines of paint and while it was wet I used my finger to brush in an upward motion to blend the white paint from the line upward.  I kept painting the line and blending until I got the aurora I wanted working in small sections.  After I was happy with the sample cs, I moved to my image and worked the same technique until I had completed the entire sky.  If you wanted to make a colored aurora you could use colored paint pens but I only had white, which I like for this particular image.

Be sure to stop by the Challenge Blog and see what animals the rest of the DT chose, there are some really awesome creations as always.  Grab an image from Mo's store and play along in the challenge.
Congratulations to the Top 3 winners and the Random winner this week.  We have had so many wonderful entries in the Challenges and so fun to see them all.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful creative week.

Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge

Brrr....Cold again here in Omaha, but it warms my heart to get to create a new Mo's creation for a new Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge.  The theme is Anything Goes with the optional theme of Boy's will be Boys.  I created an altered notebook for my Grandson's 5th Birthday:

I used the darling, My Tamborine,  image for my little notebook.  Kids just love to have little notebooks they can write in when they are learning to write so thought Gage would think this was pretty special.

Colored with copics and the embellishments are little wood letters and the number 5, for his birthday year we are celebrating.   I do not have a silhouette so the image was cut by hand :)

It was so much fun to have so many entries for the Challenge this fortnight.  Always so much fun to look at all of the darling Mo images all colored up so cute.  Grab a Mo image and play along for a chance to win a Mo's gift certificate, one is given away for every 25 entries.  Plus we have the Top 3 entries.

Be sure to stop by the other DT members blogs and see what awesome creations they have for you to see and stay tuned for some exciting changes coming in the next few weeks :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful creative week :)

Challenge Winner at Kit and Clowder!!!

Who Me!! I was just a little excited, not because I was the best colorist in the contest, because I am not that nieve or conceited, but close.  I colored a darling Ppinky image for the favorite Color combo challenge at Kit and Clowder this month, actually I colored 3 and Alyce chose this image as the winner for the Encouragement award:

I had worked hard on the hair, eyes, body and wings and in my true nature over did the wings, and in my opinion ruined them, by accenting the lower wings with a way too dark line of maroonish             ( technical color term LOL  ) in a totally non-Alyce flicking motion :)  Before I decided it was way too dark and uggly I had highlighted it with Atyou clear glitter pen and then there was no removing or blending out the color.  Sooooooooooooo   what to do....

I debated about just junking the whole thing, but I don't remember ever doing that with any image, they may have 52 layers of color but they will be fixed LOL.  Then decided that I could use strips of thin paper to "hide" the side marker and leave just a narrower bit showing.  In real life it actually looks better than when photographed which accentuates all faults.  The end result was that I was pleased enough to post the image at the last minute and Alyce said to enter it which I did and wahlaah,  Winner Winner Chicken Dinner :)

The moral of the story is to never give up and just throw it away after you have worked so hard on something, find a way to fix it, no one but you knows that you really messed up unless you tell them, we really are our own worst critics and after all ....coloring is my therapy and I am so happy to be back creating again after last year.

In case you are wondering I am taking the Hair and Skin, and Clothing classes  here to improve my coloring techniques and because I can....Alyce is awesome.  The classes are wonderful and although I still kind of put my own spin on things ( go figure) like go lighter to darker and  and I will never be a flickin flicker no matter how much I practice, but I try, I can see a noticable difference in my DT work and all of my coloring.  Seeing light source and shadows has never been a problem for me but I tend to always source from one direction, so trying to use the classes to broaden my horizens.  They are reasonably priced and there is no time limit to finish.

Well, to say the least I was excited to have be in the Top 3 for this challenge and get to be a Guest Designer for the next Challenge, I will make the time :)

Thanks for stopping by and sharing my excitement and have a wonderful creative week :)
