Sassy Tuesday!! A New Challenge :)

Wasn't the Sassy Cheryl's Blog Hop fun last week?  Are you ready for another Sassy Challenge brought to you by the incredibly talented Sassy Sister, Jackie.  Jackie has chosen the theme Pink and White:  Here is what I created:

Okay, I have to admit the reason there is way too much blue on this pink and white card is,  I always write down my challenges, the hostess and theme on a large desk calendar so I can glance at the calendar and see what I need to get done for the week.  Obviously, it didn't work this week, as I wrote down Spring instead of Pink and White... Sorry Jackie, it still is pink and white,,,,,,,,and blue!!
The image is a new super cute Bunny image called Decked Out Easter Bunny, isn't he just too cute?!?  I colored with copic markers and sponged with distress ink.  The corner scrolls were cut with my cricut.
Three buttons tied with yard , three pink roses  and a blue bow and band to finish off this super fun card.
Be sure to stop by the Sassy Cheryl's Challenge blog to see what the rest of the DT has in store for you, I peeked and the creations are even more outstanding than usual, so you know it will be great.
Be sure to check out the Sassy Cheryl's Store as she has announced she will have 10......yes 10 new images for your coloring pleasure. I have seen them and they are soooooooooooo perfect and a wonderful variety of inages for all your card making/scrapbooking needs.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day

Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge - Pastels

The challenge on Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge Blog this week is hosted by Peggy Marsh, our DT coordinator extraordinare!!!  For the challenge this week Peggy chose the theme of creating a pastel card.
Here is what I created :
This sweet image is called First Day of School-Girl and I love it.  I loved coloring this with my copics and really liked the way that it turned out.
I used my last piece of BoBunny dp I bought at my LSS as the under layer of dp because it just highlighted the colors that I had used to color the image.
The main image borders were sponged with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress ink.
The flowers were layered onto a MS medallion punched circle and the petals of the 5 petal flowers were shaped around a paint brush handle to add dimension.  A blue Dew Drop was added to the center of each flower to maintain the color scheme.
The heart lace was added to the bottom to continue with the soft vintage feel I was going for on this project.
I thought the sentiment was perfect for this card and I like to stamp directly onto my main image which I feel doesn't distract from the image as much as a separate layer or tag for the sentiment, JMO :)

Be sure that you check out the rest of the DT creations, you know they will be awesome.  We can't wait to see what you create.
Have you seen all of the awesome new creations at Mo's  There is another freebie, and tonight she posted the cutest Superduper Boy so be sure you check out the store.

Thanks for stopping by, always love to have you!!!!

Happy Coloring
