My Wednesday addiction--SCS Sketch Challenge LOL

I have found I really love playing the SCS Sketch Challenge, it is usually a challenge and I need lots of help with my card creation.. I used a wonderful fall image from Karen's Doodles, it is a freebie this week and it is gorgeous:

This was so much fun to color and I enjoyed the sketch for this week at SplitCoast Stampers.  I tied the ribbon where I could have added a sentiment and added one of my favorite paper flowers that only look hard to make,  I have gotten pretty fast at making them from scratch,  LOL  I R trainable!!!
I love the colors of fall and pumpkins are fun to color so this was a very relaxing card to make. I probably could have done a little more with the lower beige strip which I thought about punching a border but I still wanted the image to be the main focal point of the card.
I don't have too many things going on this week so I thought it would be fun to play the challenge again.  3 weeks in a row, I am on a roll.

Father's Day Challenge--Karen's Doodles

Well, I played the Karen's Doodles Challenge a few weeks ago and I was one of the random drawing winner of two images.  This is one of them and I decided to use it to play in another of the US Challenges which is a Father's Day theme:

I always think a Thank you card is appropriate for a Father's Day Card as we are really thanking our father's for all they have done for us.  I lost my father when I was 18 so it is a celebration I use for my husband and our 4 children.

Isn't this just the cutest image.  I don't know which I like more the Bigsby or Herbert the Turtle so I chose an image with both. 

You should play along, it is fun.  This was a sketch challenge and I flipped the sketch to fit my image.  I always seem to do that :)

One more Karen's Doodles Card

I have one more Karen's Doodles card to show you, I really like to color flowers and this was a really cute free image I picked up the other night when I was on her PCP group. 

Wouldnt this be a cute image to make a card for a friend, or someone who needs cheering up or just to say...It's finally spring!!!

I had a lot of fun coloring this darling image with copic markers.  I did my favorite gradient technique on the butterfly and a modified tone on tone gradient on the tulips.

I am working fast and furious on DT cards this week and week-end so most of what I have been doing I can't show you yet.
