It's Tuesday, Sassy Cheryl's Challenge timeYippee!!!

Did you have a wonderful Memorial Day Holiday my American friends?  Are you ready for another Sassy Cheryl;s Challenge...I know I am,  The challenge this week by our wonderful DT member Jeni, was to make a gift card tag or box.  Here is what I created:

I just had to make this cute little paper back pack to be the graduation gift bag for my hilarious graduate card using Smirky Boy Graduate.  Isn't this the most sheepish guy, he knew he would graduate, so there all you doubters.......LOL

The back of the graduate card has slots punched with my SU slot punch to hold a gift card,..I show it here with a library card, which I had close :)  See:

The backpack was made with instructions on the SCS website.  This gift bag would work for any age graduate as would the image...

Thanks for stopping by and be sure you stop by the Challenge blog to check out what the rest of the DT has created.  I can't wait myself!!!!  Play along for a chance to win a $5 gift certificate to Sassy Cheyl's Store and let me tell you she has new darling images every week...the older images are awesome too.

Hope you have a great day.

My First Magnolia --It's a Tildy!!!

This was so much fun to create, This one's for you Candy, since you sent me the stamp and because I am thinking about you too!!! Hope this little sweetie brings a smile to your face.....

Isn't Tildy with Daffodil just a cutie pie!!! I colored her with copics and airbrushed inside the spellbinder die before I removed her.  I didn't want to draw anything for her to be sitting on so I made her sitting on the edge of the die cut frame,  I think it is just where she wanted to be.

I added a little lace and ribbon to match the paper flower I made a couple of weeks ago. I saw the flowers on
Karen Jumeaux website and she gave the link to the tutorial to make them.  Here is the tutorial.

I have made several of the flowers and they are so easy to make except for the splitting the layers apart LOL.
I added a couple of yellow butterfies and some blue/green half pearls to the ribbon and lower right corner.

Thanks for stopping by and viewing this little beauty and hope you have a wonderful Holiday week-end.

Just Inklined--- Beautiful Tulip Jug

You all know how much I love to color beautiful flowers.  Maybe that is because I don't grow them well :)  Just Inklined has the most beautiful flowers and this Tulip Jug is one of the newest ones. What do you think?:

My mother always had tulips in her yard and I always knew Spring was right around the corner when the first ones popped up, sometimes through the snow.  The colors are so varied and beautiful, too bad they only bloom for such a short time.

The image was colored with copics and I especially had fun making the jug look like a weathered tin jug, if you enlarge the picture you can see the glended different colors used.

A little corner punching, a pretty Ms border punch, a band of lace and a cute bow finish off this, Just Because they are beautiful, card.  The I-rock gems are just a little added bling.

Be sure to stop by the LaPashe Store and check-out the wonderful Just Inklined digis.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week-end.

Mo's Digital Pencil challenge---Distress it!!!

Now, this is a challenge I can relate to...Mo's Digital Challenge this week is to Distress or have something distressed on your card. Our wonderful hostess this week is Paola and what a wonderful challenge theme. Here is my card:
Don't we all wish we had a Housework Fairy to clean our house so we could spend all our free time crafting?  I know I do.  The image was colored with copic markers and cut out with my SU top note die which was then distressed around the edges and airbrushed.
The dp I chose was a tiny embossed polka dot foam green and added pink high lights to match the apron and shoes, and hair of my fairy.
The pink border was punched with a MS pinch and I added a band and bow of sheer polka dot pink ribbon which I heated with my embossing heat gun to distress it.  The large flower in the right corner was distressed as well.  I love these roses.
Thanks so much for stopping by, it seems like I have not done a Mo's Challenge DT card forever but it has only been a week if you count the one I posted a day late...:)
Don't forget to stop by the Challenge Blog and see what awesome creations the DT have to show you.

Have a great day!!!

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge---What a Challenge LOL!!!

The challenge this week at Sassy Cheryl's Challenge is to print and color on Kraft, chosen by our wonderful hostess, Jeni.  Well, I had so much fun creating the first card I had to make another. LOL...it's cool, you will like it.:

This little beauty called Artificial Flower Girl is just the most fun to color.  I colored her with copic markers as I have no Primas like the rest of the DT girls...I then colored the highlights with SU craft ink aplied with an aqua painter  I also used some distress ink in the shading...I got a little carried away and the white high lights are much brighter as I forgot the white dries brighter LOL..how soon we forget  :)

I added a pretty tulle bow and cut a pretty scalloped scrolley frame with my cricut, using my Design Studio software to resize it to fit my picture.

Next I had to keep playing with this cute bird bath called Birdbath Chit Chat.  now this was fun too,.
Birdbaths remind me of my mother who always had a bird bath in her yard and could name more birds than I could imagine.  I now have grown to enjoy their beauty.  What do you think:

The bird bath was colored with copics and over colored with distress ink and Craft white with an aqua painter.  I added some fun bird dp on the bottom panel of the Easel card and the Hello in white tiles hold the section up for viewing.  A white scalloped label cut with my cricut and a brown/white checked ribbon and bow highlight this cute hello card.

Be sure to check out the new images Sassy Cheryl has for you today,  they are awesome...as always.  Be sure to check out the DT cards on the Sassy Cheryl Challenge Blog to view their awesome creations.

Thanks so much for stopping by and as always I am thrilled to see you here.

Young at Heart!!! Just Inklined Wrinklies--Love them!

It seems like ages since I have had the energy to post a card, probably a good thing since Blogger has been such a bugger this week. LOL

I love the Just Inklined Wrinklies images.  I fell in love with Harold Hurry and his scooter as soon as I saw it, so of course it has to be first one I show you.

I just realized the image was colored very similarly to the last one, guess I am on a red/white/black mood right now.  I colored the image with copic markers and sponged with distress ink so, when I colored the skooter red the rest just had to be black and white.

Harold Hurry is off to the Races as depicted by the newspaper in  his carry all back behind his seat.  He is a Young Old Man so Keep it up Harold.....Believe!!!.

Check out the rest of the new and old images for that matter at the LaPasche website,  The prices are so low you can afford a bunch.

Well,, I finally feel better and was so happy to be creating cards again.  Two weeks away from my coloring is too long away from my therapy....LOL.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the DT posts on the Just Inklined Blog, usually a creation or two a day.

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge--Ribbons and Bows!!!

The Sassy Cheryl's Challenge this week is hosted by the talented Jodi, who chose the theme Buttons and Bows.  Here is my card I call, Don't Bug Me!!!:

Isn't he cute?  I decided to go with a black/white/red theme for this cute lady bug charmer called, Ladybug in Love.  The image was colored with copic markers and sponged with distress inks. I loved the ribbon with the polka dot dp.  A little heart charm which says Love and 3 red and black buttons in the  upper left corner, two ribbon tabs and a Dont Bug Me sentiment and my love bug is ready to tackle the jitters...does that make him a jitter bug LOL...okay enough,.

Be sure to stop by the rest of the DT blogs and check out their creations.  Be sure to check out the new inage in the shop. Once again Cheryl has really brought us some super cute images to color.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.

Sorry my Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge card is late

Hello everyone, sorry if you wondered where my Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge card was.  I had it in the DT file but ended up in the hospital Wednesday night again and had no way to post it.  I was too tired when I got out of the hospital last night to post it, But here it is:

The theme this week but by our wonderful hostess Sheila, is to make a monochromatic card. I love making these.  I also love the Voluptous fairie.  This one is called Fairy, I think I have used this image more than any other.  Maybe I just relate to her so much LOL.

The coloring is copic markers of course and the sponging is TH distress ink.  The muted flower layer is some of my favorite vintage dp from K&Company from a matt pack called Vintage.

The beautiful flower is fron a prize package I received from Jak Heath a few weeks ago. Isn't is awesome and the perfect match for my color choice.  Three little dew drops and my card is complete.

I'm sure you have already checked out the rest of the DT;s cards but if not, be sure to stop by, they are amazing.

Mo also has some wonderful new images and I HAVE to get the new Housework fairy....

Thanks for stopping by and have  great day.

Hugs,
Cathy

It's Tuesday and that means a Sassy Cheryl's Challenge!!!

Are you ready for another wonderful Sassy Cheryl's Challenge?!?  I know I am,  The hostess this week is the totally talented Jodi, who has chosen the theme Pink.  My card has pink so it qualifies!!! Here is the cute Bearing flowers bear.

I created this darling little matchbox easel card using a SVG template I purchased from  Playing With Paper, Thanks Sue.
The cute bear was colored with copic markers but the colors aren't quite as pretty as they  really are becaues althrough I love to make easel cards, they are sooo hard to photograph, to view all the parts with no shadows.
The flowers were cut with my cricut, Two 2 in, two 1.5 in and one 1 in.  I formed them and spritzed them with Glamor Mist.  I added an I-Rock gem to the flower center and to the bodies of the dragon flies.
The dragon flies were punched with my new dragon fly punch one from pink cs and one from vellum.  Be careful when heating the rhinestones on the vellum....don't ask me how I know.... LOL.
The front and top of the box and drawer are some K & company dp I just love, rather vintage but mostly just beautiful colorsl.  I did add a bit of pink airbrushing around the edges to make it more pink and airbrushed a little on the main image.

I just got a peak at some of the new images Sassy Cheryl has in the shop for you all tomorrow, they are adorable.  Be sure to stop by the rest of the DT blogs to see what awesome pink creations they have created.

Thank you so much for stopping by, always excited to see you!!!

Have a great day!!

Good morning everybody. Are you ready for the Just Inklined Blog Hop, yep it is the first Monday of the Month.  If you arrived from Karen's blog you are in the right spot, if you are a regular visitor to my page you may want to start at Jak's, page so as not to miss a single creation along the way.  Jak is the hostess this week and the theme is Clean and Simple....a theme I struggle with as I don't like to hide the image with foo-foo but I am not really a minimalist either LOL, That is another whole post LOL  Here is my fun, You can't fool Mother Nature, card using The Doodlebuns Maude:

Don't you just love Maude?  I colored with copic markers and used Jak's polka dot dp for the flower.which I cut out with my cricut.  The plain white border was sponged with SU ink and a white label for the sentiment, which was computer generated.  In case you can't read it it says,  It's not nice to Fool Mother Nature!
The next stop along your Hop is, Heidy, and I just know she has something awesome to show you!!!
There are 5 secret prizes along the hop, so be sure to leave a comment on each DT members blogs for a chance to win.
