Sassy Cheryl's Challenge--Say it with Love!

Are you ready for a new Sassy Cheryl's Challenge?  The theme this week brought to you by the talented Ms Sassy Judy is With Love and I chose, "Come Here Often":

I grew up in a small town that had a Drug store with a soda fountain and we would gather there to meet our friends after school and church and this brought back many fond memories LOL.  In fact a deaf lady who was my mother's best friend and for whom I was named, Cathryn Roberts, worked there as a server.  My drink of choice was a green river, just in case you wondered  :).

I watercolored this wonderful image with SU watercolor crayons and an aqua paint brush. Love the effect and the antique look, in keeping with the era LOL.  I purchased some wood cut out sentiments that I airbrushed for the sentiment in the upper left corner, that was fun.   A cricut frame, button and a drink ticket and my With Love card is complete.
I am going to admit now that I didn't read the part where Judy said to add a heart until after I had photographed the card and added it to the file, so I am going with... that I didn't see it at all....sorry Judy.  Noah has a huge heart and I think he is in love.  Actually I added a small cut out heart to the ticket but did not re-photograph the card.

Be sure to stop by the Challenge blog and check out the rest of the DT cards and see what they have created With Love.  Grab a few new images from the, Sassy Cheryl's Store, or the new, Just Being Sally Store, and play along in the challenge to win a couple of images in the random drawing held weekly.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful creative week.

Oh How funny! I was looking for the heart, LOL... not....
I agree that Noah has a heart of gold and is waiting to share it with his little sweetie as soon as she arrives to share his sweet treat!
this is fantastic with the water coloring, so soft and vintage feeling.
I haven't used the water brushes for a very long time.. might get them out and give them a try.
hugs to ya..
I love your sweet, creative card!

We are definitely Craft Sisters this week Cathy. I too had a soda shop and this brings back many memories. Mine favorite was a vanilla ice cram soda. MMMMM. I colored this image, but haven't used it yet. I also forgot about the hearts and am off to fix my card before I post. LOL Judy certainly has her hands full with the two of us.

The water colors look awesome. Kinda Norman Rockwell.
