I come before you to stand behind you ........

That is one of the funniest lines I remember from High School.  The rest of the first sentence is:  to tell you something I know nothing about.   I thought of that saying when I looked at this image I created by merging two of Mo's Digital Pencil Wizard of Oz characters:

I thought I would merge these two awesome new characters from Mo's Digital Pencil together with Dorothy with ToTo in the basket but I have lost Dorothy.  The file is no where on my computer......@#@@@$$%  I hate when that happens.

I think these two guys turned out really cute merged together with the Brave Tin Man (who just got his heart) protecting his not so brave friend, the Cowardly Lion.  There is something I find fascinating about coloring fur,

The image was colored with copic markers and then I went to playing with the embellishments.  Wanted to stay with the tin theme so punched out some tin photo corners with my cuttlebug, still need to work on the correct sandwich for that, it worked but in a couple of places it had to be convinced it was scored.

The flowers in the upper right hand corner are Tim Holtz flowers with the edges curled back.  An antique silver button was added to the center to keep with the whole tin, beige theme I have going here.

I hope to get lots more crafting done tomorrow and Sunday, I have a busy week and company coming next week-end so have to work a little ahead so I don't get behind,...It is good in theory..we'll see LOL.

Have a Great Day and thanks for stopping by.

You have created a wonderful card! I love the Oz images of Mo's and this is such a great idea to combine these two!

I also love the saying and have written it down so I don't forget it!

Wishing you a lovely day!

This card is awesome. The Lion looks so cute hiding behind the Tin Man. Great job merging the two images. Love the foil accent and Tim Holtz flowers are fabulous.

Great card, Cathy... you are the merging queen!

I think the name of the image isn't "Dorothy"... so keep looking and it might pop up.
