Glitz and Glimmer--Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge

I can't believe it is already Thursday...I am still catching up from Thanksgiving week-end.  Time for another Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge and our hostess this week is Lisa and her terrific choice for the challenge is Glitz and Glitter.  Here is my card using Cat's in the Christmas Tree:

Until last year we have always had a cat at our house and although they didn't ever do this I love the image and the Charlie Brown tree is just too fun.  Lots of glitter on this card but it is so hard to photograph well so I took another pix below at an angle to show the glitter more.

The image was colored with copic markers and the sentiment was cut with my cricut expression out of silver glitter cardstock.  It took me a minute to get the sentiment to cut deep enough to cut all the way through but when I did a multi cut it worked great.
Below is my image where you can see the glitter better.  All the balls and the Christmas tree skirt, the branches of the trees and the sentiment.  I don't think I over did it....well maybe for me but it was fun and I really like the way it turned out.

Be sure to stop by the Challenge blog and see what the DT have created for you. Be sure you stop by Mo's Digital Pencil store to see all the wonderful Christmas Carole images she has for you...they are really cool!!!

Thanks for stopping by.

You have made a quite cartoony image look really pretty with your shine and the brilliant colourwork on the tree skirt. Lovely! Warmest wishes, Lesley

Happy Birthday Cathy! I love that image. The cat holding onto the tree is so much a part of a cat owner's Christmas.

Cathy, this is oh so cute! I love the image but I can't help but visualize the next frame -- the tree top flopping over to the right with the cat hanging on for dear life! I say that because I had a kitten that liked to climb the Christmas tree -- until the tree spit it out with a fling of a branch. LOL! I'm glad you showed the pix with the glitz -- it looks great!

This is so cute, Cathy! I love this image, but have been resisting it because there are so many others I want, too! We had a flying squirrel in our tree a couple of years ago...that was an adventure!
