When I first saw this image I knew I wanted to try the new technique where you cut part of the image out of the spellbinder die cut. I watched a tutorial, I'm sorry but I can't remember where I viewed it, so I can't give you a link. But doesn't it look like the frog is jumping out of the circle. It would have been perfect if I had a cattail stamp with reeds but I didn't so I used some neat springy papers to have him jump into.
The circle is offset on the green square to give the illusion of jumping out of the water.
Each layer was matted on white cs to accentuate it.
Hobby Lobby had a 40% off coupon that HAD to be used by yesterday. I had seen the QuickKutz flower die set and just didn't want to spend 24.99 for it but I was willing to spend 16.50, LOL Aren't they perfect? There are 6 different sizes of flowers, I didn't use the solid flower dies for this card but I 'm sure you will see them soon. The centers are some gem centered, silver rimmed brads that were just the right size for flower centers. I think (haven't tried it yet) that I will be able to cut my own felt flowers because the dies are metal. Can't wait to try...
The little fairy just looks so happy and giddy to be riding on this hoppy frog, the whole thing just makes me smile.
Hopefully I am back in the swing of things and my week will be back to normal. Probably wishful thinking but it's a start :)
Be sure to check out the new cute images and the Charming freebie Mo just created because the Paper Craft Planet group went over 1300 members and we're already one third of the way to 1400. Be sure to stop by and see what all the chatter is.
Happy Easter everyone, see you tomorrow.
Happy Coloring

Oh my, what an adorable card!
Cathy, This is just wonderful! Isn't the "Out-of-the-Box" technique fun?! I think I use it on almost every card I make. LOL!
