Yeah, it is Tuesday and that means a new Sassy Cheryl's Challenge. I love my cuttlebug so this was a fun challenge for me. To be honest they are all fun but I do have my preferences like the ones that are easier for me LOL!! The so very talented Jodi is the hostess this week and we are to use embossing on our card. Here is what I created:
I really like Sassy Cheryl's little quilt blocks. I chose the July Quilt block since the 4th of July is quickly approaching. I kept the colors rather Americana colors with darker reds and country blues with beige tinted whites. No I didn't spill my coffee!!! LOL
Colored with copic markers and sponged with Faded Jeans distress ink. The antique brass star eyelets were added with my Crop-a-dile. I added 3 tiny brads in the upper right corner to balance it a little.
The embossed portio is the red panel I ran through my Star cuttlebug folder. Because the paper was wider than my folder I had a seam which I covered with the red check ribbon.
Be sure to check out the rest of the DT creations, they are awesome!!!
We would love to have you play along and you always have a chance in the random drawing to win a 5 dollar gift certifiate.
Sassy Cheryl's has another batch of super cute images released today. Be sure you check out the store.
