Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge--Go Masculine!!

Peggy Marsh, Our fearless DT coordinator is the hostess for the Mo's Digital Pencil Challenges this month, didn't she do an awesome job.  Today she chose the theme, make a masculine card.  That should be easy enough with all of the new awesome guy images that Mo has come out with lately.  I chose Big Guy Golfing for my card.
I colored the image with my favorite guy colors right now, blue and green.  The main image is matted on a scalloped edge border of SU Blue Bayou.  I have this wondeful blue and green plaid dp that I love for my guy cards.  Are you sick of seeing it yet?
I wanted to add sharp contrasting details without overwhelming the design.  I cut the photo corners from aluminum sheeting using a cuttlebug die and my cuttlebug.  I had a small strip of aluminum and turned it over and used my stylus to write DAD backwards on the aluminum.  Flipped it over and adhered it to the Blue Bayou tag.  It was pretty hard to photograph because it was so shiny.  The letters are narrow lined but the aluminum gave off such a glare it makes them look fat and distorted.  I used my crop-a-dile to punch the holes for the silver brads.  I added a silver brad in each corner of the main image.
You have got to check out the rest of the DT projects for Peggy's wonderful masculine challenge and whle you are at it check out Mo's newest Big Guy Grilling image.  There is also a new Cat Grad, and a super sweet Kissy that would be a perfect card for a little girl to give her Mommy, or a big girl to give her mom.

Thanks for stopping by

Happy Coloring
