Monkey Business-Gift Card Holder---Riley and Company Challenge

Patti is the hostess of the Riley and Company Challenge this week and challenged us to make a pkg project.  I was having a total brain fart on a different idea when I finally had a Eureka moment!!!  Gift card holders are always handy to have around.  Here is my "There's No Place Like Home" wicked monkey gift card holder:
The outside of the gift card holder has the not so scarey wicked flying monkey colored with copic markers and highlighted with sukara star dust glitter pen.  I rounded the corners with my corner punch on all three layers.  The dp is double sided so you don't have to take all the time to create the cute little wallet style holder.
The original directions are on SCS but I amended it to use double sided paper to save tons of time and I think they are cute and face it the majority of the recipients are only interested in the contents, sad but true!!!

I have also taken a pix of the inside so you can see the design.  Here you go:

I scored the project with my MS score tool.  I stuck a note in the gift card slot so you could see it easier.
Be sure to check out the rest of the DT's blogs for their challenge projects and play along. If you play along use the keywords Riley 1110 on SCS so we can find it in the gallery.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day.

Adorable card! Yup - great idea! Gift card holders that are handmade are so much sweeter than the cheesy ones you get with the gift cards!
