Cute Mo's Digital Pencil --Melia Shell-Phone Mermaid

Melia on her Shell-phone from Mo's Digital Pencil  is too cute, don't you think:

I printed Melia on white cs and left enough room for the seascape I knew I wanted to use with her.  The seascape is from DogGone Stamps and a perfect compliment to the darling little mermaid.
The image was mounted on my new paper pack from K&Company called Que Sera Sera that I am sure you will be seeing a lot of :)
I used my favorite copic technique called gradiant where you blend the different marker colors seamlessly from lighter to darker.  It takes a little practice to not have the blending go outside the lines but I really like the look.
The seascape was stamped twice masking the mermaid to not get any overlapping of images. All images were colored with copic markers.
I wanted the edges to look somewhat like waves so I used my new wide scalloped MS punch.  The edges were sponged with Vintage Photo distress ink on the bottom and blue Bayou for the top and sides.
A white dotted swiss ribbon the right side and three blue dew drops to look like air bubbles created from talking on the cell phone and this little seascape is complete.
Hope you enjoyed my just because I had time to play card.  Those are always fun.
Thanks for stopping by and look forward to seeing you tomorrow

Happy Coloring

Cathy
