I got some Clear Art Stamp sets last week

I have been wanting to do some of the challenges with the ladies on Splitcoast Stampers in the Crafty Secrets Forum. Yesterday's Scrapbooking store just two blocks from me carries some of the Clear Art Stamp sets and I bought two sets last week-end. The small journal set with the cherub I showcased last night and the Kitchen Classic set. Here is a card I made for the "b" challenge on Crafty Secrets Forum using a couple of images from the Kitchen Classic set:

The challenge on Crafty Secrets for 12-16-08 was to use at least 3 "B" items on your project. I used a border, a bow, there was a boo boo which I covered with a button. Three "b"s and a cute card....doesn't get any better than that in my world!

Aren't these little guys cute. I colored them with copic markers. I punched them out with my scalloped square punch and sponged the edges with blue bayou stampin up ink.

I trimmed around the edge of the border to show the scalloped detail. I sponged with the blue bayou ink as well. I attached the border just a little above the bottom edge to let the blue background show underneath. I tied a blue ribbon bow above the scalloped edge. I had dyed the ribbon a few weeks ago with SU reinkers.

I found buttons in my button stash and added teal emboidery floss. My little card was complete. I left the inside blank so that I could send it for an occassion when one arose or I will just hoard it as usual.

Thanks for looking and have a great night.

Gotta go finish my project for my Artistic Outpost posting tomorrow. My designated day to upload projects is Wednesday on the Artistic Outpost blog.
