The hostess this week for the Sassy Cheryl's Challenge is Tracy who chose the theme Paper Piecing. I must admit that as much as I love to color I do enjoy paper piecing. Here is my card:
I had a lot of fun merging these two images, Christmas Moose and Merry Christmas Forest but it wasn't as easy as it looked like it would be, but I really think it turned out fun!!! I thought it would be fun to have the calico trees using one of my favorite Christmas tree dp sheets I have had for a couple of years. I have hourded it as I love the look and not sure I can still get it,but I thought his image deserved my last piece.
The image was colored with copic markers and the paper pieced trees were taped in place. I tried to keep with just red, green and yellow.
The sentiiment was printed on my computer and cut out with the smallest Sweet Stamps scalloped oval die which is a perfect tag. I ddn't tie any ribbons through the ribbon slots but attached it with just the one red button...I know I am such a dork but I didn't want the ribbons to detract from the tag and image but had to say Merry ChristMoose!!!
Be sure to stop by the Sassy Cheryl's Challenge blog and see what wonderful creations the rest of the DT has in store for you and then grab an image and play along. There is always a random drawing for a 5 dollar gift certificate. If Sasssy Boss Lady is true to form there will be new images for your purchasing pleasure today as well.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
