Mo's images are drawn so that the detail stays very fine and the lines don't detract from the image which sometimes happens with digital images when you resize them.
I didnt' use Christmasy colors yet! I just love the expression on the little mouses face.
I used copic markers and distressed the edges with Tim Holtz broken china and peeled paint and fortunately the combination matched my cup color :) I love it when my method works. I almost always color up some images and then match them to dp, doesn't always work but I can usually add distressing colors to give the illusion that it did. Now I am telling my secrets LOL!
Here is another quick card that I made with a free digital image from Mo's Digital Pencil Paper Craft Planet site. I am warning you right now, if you go to her site you will not come away without at least one image in your shopping cart. Consider yourself warned. Here is a little oriental girl that was a freebie on Thursday:
Isn't this sweet. I colored with copics and then used my Oriental tree stamp to create the main card dp. which I overdrew with the Sukara Stardust clear glitter pen. You can't really see the sparkle in the photo. There is also glitter pen used on the butterflies and swirls on her kimono.
I am coloring today, but have to work tonight. I have colored two more really great Mo images that I still have to make cards but you will probably see them tomorrow so check back.
Have a great week-end.
Cathy
