Sweet Card for TGIF

I had to take the day off today to go register my car, tough job but somebody has to do it :). That meant I had some time to play during the day and made this Sweet it's Friday card with the downloadable image Dorothy from The Greeting Farm:

I have been having a great time coloring these little darlings. I of course colored with copic markers. I sponged around the main image with Tim Holtz Distress ink weathered wood and rose. I sponged the rose around the edge of the coral layer as well. Attached both main image and coral layer to the turquoise card stock leaving a space at the bottom for the sentiment.

I used my copic airbrush to color the white heart turquoise because, although I have a bizillion buttons, I had no turquoise ones, don't know how that happened. When the marker was dry on the button I threaded the narrow ribbon through the button holes and tied a knot. I had made bows for Dorothy's hair as well and attached them with glue dots.

I added the Sweet sentiment at the bottom so it can be used for a lot of different occassions. I finished the card with blue dew drops and the prima flower. Sweet!, I got to make a card on FriDay!

I may be back later tonight with something else but I HAVE to finish a card order so I need to get busy.

Have a great evening.

Cathy
