This picture doesn't show the pullin pastels background paper that I used for the main card dp. I used blue green and yellow chalks on black cs to create the background paper. IRL it really pulls the navy blue highlights from the chickadee's black colors.
Here is a close up of the background:
The colors in the top photo are the true colors but I had to lighten the photo considerably to show the bg, hopefully you can imagine what it looks like :).
You could make the scalloped punch another more masculine punch and leave off the pearls as well for a masculine card very easily.

So cute. and it reminds me of a wood carving I did years ago of a chickadee. They are so sweet little birds and you did a wonderful job with him!
