Look what my Granddaughter made!

I went to Kansas to a baby shower for my oldest daughter, Nicki, on Saturday and spent Sunday with her and two of her daughters Cailyn and Alexa. Sunday evening I went up to Kansas City, Missouri to my daughter, Michelle's house to spend a day with her family.
Cheyenne is my 9 year old granddaughter who really loves to create cards, write stories and create special memories for people.
I was using my Koh-i-Nor pencils and OMS and she was interested in what I was doing so I had an extra Tractor Riley image from Hanna Stamps so I showed her what I was doing with mine and told her how to outline her image with the colors she wanted and she colored Riley and the Tractor all by herself with the OMS and stumps. Didn't she do a wonderful job?!~
She was so funny when I told her that I was going to post a picture of her card on my blog. She said not to tell that she had done it and when I asked why she said because I helped her matt it and she didn't want to take credit for something that she didn't do.
I told her that she had done such a great job coloring it by herself that I was going to show everyone and mention that I helped matt it. Okay, I told you.
Cheyenne picked out the brads, paper, ribbon and made all the executive decisions as far as construction including the layout. The only thing I did was help her measure the matts and poked the brad holes for her. She got her matts glued on more even than I usually do :)
This is her Father's Day card for her Grandpa Jim (my husband) so I brought it home to give to him. He will love it!
Cheyenne will be reading this blog post so if you want to comment, she will be thrilled to read them.

I'll be back later,

Cathy

Tell her she did a great job on Riley! Fantastic job blending with the pencils and OMS. How awesome of you to encourage here and share your supplies. I love crafting with my nieces that are 6 and 9.

Wow! That is some fantastic coloring. It was so good I clicked on the photo to see it larger. I love the design, with the diagonal ribbons and great color choices.

What a great job you did, Cheyenne! Very impressive!
