Sue, illustrator at KLM Digital Designs, creates the most awesome images to color! I love this design but every time I see this image I think of the song my kids sang that goes: "Little Cottage in the woods, little man by the window stood, saw a stranger passing by......... you know the one. Don't you hate it when you get something in your head like that. Oh well, I love the image.
Colored with copic markers and lightly sponged around the outside edge with Tim Holtz Weathered Wood distress ink.
I wanted a more vintage or aged look to this so I used my crackle background stamp from the StampTV kit that I won several months ago. I added the Welcome tiles and the paper prima flower from the Cloe collection at Michaels. I punched the corner scrolls and I am sure I put them on backwards but I wanted them to highlight the corner and not hide it.
Be sure to check out the rest of the new images from KLM Digital Designs as more images are added all the time and they just keep getting better and better. Not only are the images wonderful each image comes with 2 or 3 sentiments that you can print out as well which a lot of the digital stamp companies don't have. Added bonus if you ask me!!!
If you haven't tried Digital images yet, now would be a perfect time, Katy and Sue have all different types of images so there are numerous that are perfect for every occasion you can think of. Right now on the homepage you can download a FREE Back to school image that is just darling, and it doesn't get better than free :)
You all be good and I will see you tomorrow.
Cathy
