At the Beach--DogGoneStamps

I promised you a Dog Gone Stamps card today and this is one of my favorite 1926 images called At the Beach. In 1926 being coy and innocent was very feminine...boy have times changed! :)

Colored with copic markers, you would be really surprised if I said anything different!!!, and sponged with Tim Holtz Distress inks Broken China and Vintage Photo.

The background is a faux marble dp that I created using Tim Holtz reinkers and metalic mixative pearl. I used bottle, denim and pearl with a felt applicator pad and a little Tim Holtz blender fluid. I had been waiting for the right image to use the dp and this was perfect because it looks like the ocean to me.

I really wanted the image to be the main focus so I just added a wide dotted swiss ribbon, tied a bow knot and added 3 antique pearl (real pearl) buttons from my grandfather's button collection.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the great sales and stamps that Dog Gone Stamps have right now.

Have a great day and I will of course have another project tomorrow, just not sure which one yet.

Good Night.

Cathy
