I used a digital image from The Digi Shack. I colored the flowers with the RV21 pink and BV02 lavendar for the main colors of the flower petals. I colored the leaves with three shades of green and the darkest was G02. My light color is Y15 yellow used for the flower centers.
I then punched a rectangle with my Martha Stewart fancy scalloped punch leaving about 3/4 of an inch on each end that i left closed. I punched the flower image with my Marvy Scalloped oval punch. I considered sponging the edges of the floral scallop but decided to use no sponging on this card. ( yes, I am having sponging withdrawal at the moment :) ) I tied a pretty pink ribbon that I dyed with SU reinkers. Added buttons to the corners. I then mounted this on white.
I used my cutterbug single line paper piercing wheel to outline the edge of the white panel. I then mounted all on a pretty pink cardstock base and my project was done. This is a simple quick card and you can add a sentiment tag to the ribbon for almost any occasion.
You need to join us for this fun challenge. Create a card and upload it to the website, we would love to see what you do. If you are a beginning user of copic markers color a picture and show us what you did, we were all beginners at one time too.
See you later tonight with some challenge cards, it is the week-end, my time to play!!!
