Wouldn't this be a cute, very masculine card for a little boy, a teen, or any guy who likes cars and mud and dirt. I think that covers a lot of guys :)
Dustin Pike is a designer of digital images. I just found his site through a fellow DT member, Becky in East Tennessee, who is a DT member for him. He has a free download image every wednesday and unfortunately just lost his "real" job and fortunately for all of us has much more time to create wonderful images. Check them out.
I colored with my copic markers and then I sponged around the main image with Tim Holtz Tattered Burlap distress ink and mounted that on SU Red Riding Hood cs. I used my cutterbee paper piercing tool around the main image and then for added interest I ran it diagonally on the Sahara Sand layer that the main image would be mounted on. I like the way that it turned out.
I wanted to use my philips head brads for a more masculine feel but I only had three brass ones so I used a Tim Holtz swim basket pin to look like it is holding the hey and drive charms.,
I think it looks like something my grandsons would like.
Tomorrow I am going to have a Dog Gone Stamps card for you and also an Artistic Outpost image will be posted on the AO blog site Wednesday morning.
Right now I am in the mood to go color, so that is what I am going to do. See you tomorrow!
