This darling little monkey was fun to color, but I think everything is fun to color ! I have been working on a few things this week but haven't had as much free time this week as I normally do. The new colt is taking extra time until he gets used to going out to the pasture with Mom. Right now it takes two of us, one to lead the mare and one to lead the baby, so I haven't been getting home until after 8:00 p.m. and then eat something, and by the time I get to stamping or coloring it is 10:00.
My schedule will change this week-end and I am going back to working from 5 to midnight. I can cut back my hours because we get a nice shift differential by working the evening shift. I am very excited that I will be home during the day and plan to do a lot more challenges than in the past.
Back to this cute card! The only thing that I did differently was to use Copic blender fluid on a square of washcloth, about 2 inches square, to make the monkey fur look more realistic. It may not show up too well in the picture. I usually just dab it good once and wait until it dries because it is kind of magic stuff and the effect shows up better as it dries so it is easy to overdue the processes, ask me how I know? :)
I promise that I will be back nightly at least for a few days as I have to work Friday during the day and then my nights start on Saturday but not until 6:00 p.m.
I apologize that I haven't posted this week but thank you for not crossing me off your list of sites to visit, I love to have you stop by and see what I have been playing with.
